This is a hotel review of Hotel G, is a boutique hotel on Geary Street in San Francisco. We found it on Trip Advisor and love the look and feel of it!
Hotel G was very easy to find using the GPS in our rental car. There was a parking garage that was only a block or two away from where we parked our Jeep. (Y’all know how I love convenient parking when we travel!)
This revamped hotel was so charming, even if I was slightly afraid of the elevator. 😉 The staff was always friendly and it really felt like you were staying in an old school hotel back in the day. It didn’t have a “chain” feeling to it which I really liked. They were always willing to take a photo of us in the lobby, and trust me! I asked frequently, lol.
This hotel had a great hotel “mini bar” of sorts where they had snacks and beverages. It was a great and convenient way to refuel after walking up and down all those SF hills. 😉
We had plenty of room to spread our bags out here. Hotel G rooms have concrete floors and a small closet beside the bed. They had an iron and ironing board which Michael used frequently while we were there.
I don’t remember if our room had a tv or not because we were always so busy we didn’t even use it. The staff’.
There is a bar attached to the hotel that was always super busy. We didn’t make it there because we were always so busy seeing the sights. Our visit was fantastic! We will definitely stay again!!
