I’ve talked before about how Sassy is a power chewer. She definitely has been through her share of dog toys. We’ve had ripped toys, shredded toys, and destroyed toys… oh my! 😉 We’ve tried nearly every brand that is actually destructible and every brand that claims to be. Sassy is very prey-driven, but she is just all-around very hard on toys. So, this is our list of toys that have withstood a dandy amount of chewing. This is our list of the top 7 indestructible dog toys!
#1. Classic Kong
$12.99, Size: Large
Let’s get this one out of the way because we all know how great Kong toys are! Not only are they indestructible, but they are also great for indoor play. We frequently put peanut butter in Sassy’s kong and she loves it!
$7.99, Size: Large
Sassy especially loves to have jerky stuffed into this bone! This is one of her all-time favorite toys. She tosses it in the air and loves to chew on it frequently. We have had it well over a year and it is still in perfect condition!
#3. Chuck-It Balls
$4.91, Size: One size
Sassy loves to play with these inside our house but especially loves to play with them in the back yard. They have held up to her rough play and chewing for almost 2 years and they come in a pack of 2!
#4. Kong Tire
$14.99, Size: One size (adult)
Sassy has had this tire since she was about 6 months old. She got it out again to play with the other day. She loves throwing it around the house and is able to play independently.
#5. Kong SafeStix
$12.99, Size: Medium
Yep, Kong again. I swear they didn’t sponsor this post – they just make the most indestructible toys (however, some of their toys are definitely destructible FYI).
Anyway, this is actually a pretty hard stick, but it has lasted longer than the other sticks Sassy has tried!
$7.00, Size: Large
This ball is designed to be able to hold treats inside, but Sassy just tosses it around our living room most of the time. She has played and chewed on this ball a ton and it has held up perfectly!
$11.30, Size: Medium
This is Sassy’s favorite new toy! We just got this about a month ago for her to try. I was worried that because it was kind of soft she would end it, but she didn’t! It has held up really well and she begs me to get it for her if it gets stuck under the couch. lol!
If we find more indestructible dog toys, I will add them to this list. So far, these are the only ones we have found though!
