So you’re going to Nashville and want to experience Broadway Street? My friend, you are in for a good time! We are huge fans of Broadway Street. We like to think of it as the Beale Street of Nashville, minus the drinking on the street. My husband and I have been to Nashville together twice now, (the first time, we got engaged!), but both times we had a blast on Broadway. In fact, I may have had a little too much fun the first time, if you know what I mean.
We went to Ole Red at night so it was packed, but it was too dark and the lighting was weird, so I snapped this photo the next day. Ole Red was an absolutely great time! This bar is owned by Blake Shelton. Since we love The Voice, we had to swing on it. We sat on the second level and listened to the music. This bar was our new fav and we can’t wait to go back!
Is rock or top 40 music more your thing? You’ll want to hit up Tequila Cowboy on Broadway Street! They have several different areas. Hubby and I thought we were 21 again for a hot minute and danced it out in the Top 40 area. I believe they also have a karaoke area here if that your thing!
If you love good music, fun drinks and a great view from a rooftop, you’re in luck! Acme Feed & Seed has all of those. Try the “Frose” on the first floor, and you won’t be disappointed! It’s a glorified, but epic wine slushy.
If you want a more chill experience, you should go to AJ’s Good Time bar! Although there is always a crowd, it is manageable and I’ve never experienced bad music here! Plus, sometimes they have the Tiki bar open, and who doesn’t want a Tiki bar experience?!
Want to play pinball and other retro games while you sip your drinks? You can do that at HQ Beercade! Although this isn’t ON Broadway Street, it’s darn close so I’m counting it. We went here on a Saturday and it was packed, but there were plenty of games to go around! This hangout is two levels with a bar on each level. Be sure to go all the way to the back on the first level and see their giant cassette tape wall!
Want to see live music any time of day? Honky Tonk Central is your place! This place is always crowded and I guarantee there are at least 3 bachelorette parties happening on each level. It is something to see though!
The Wildhorse was closed for a private party on the Saturday night we tried to go, so we went the next day. (Apparently, Dave Ramsey himself was having a Christmas party for his staff!) Although it was much less busy, it was still a good time and they are known for having great acts stop by.
FGL House is absolutely wild some nights! The Sunday night that we were there though, it was much better than the first time we went. We had dinner there before we continued on our Broadway journey and it was amazing!! I had the Bavarian Pretzel and Hubby had the Southern Fish Tacos. Their ‘Party People’ drink, named after one of their hits, was very good also.
- Crazy Town – Attached to this one is the Sun Diner, a great place for a late-night post-Broadway bite to eat!
- Dierk’s Bentley’s Whiskey Row – If whiskey is your thing, you’re going to love this one!
- The Stage – Always crowded, but again, awesome music here!
